Russian Visa Information: 

There are two types of tourist visas provided by Russia. One is an e-visa (Unified Electronic Visa), and the other is a regular tourist visa or sticker visa.

e-visa (Unified Electronic Visa): 

• 120 days valid from the issue date, and a maximum stay of 30 days. 
• This visa allows only a single entry. 
• Document: No invitation, no hotel booking for the visa application. 
• You do not need to visit the embassy and visa centre. You can appley it visa via their official portal, the Russian e-Visa Portal. 

Note: Try to book a hotel before arriving because it will be helpful during immigration. 

Regular tourist visa or sticker visa :

• Valid up to 6 months, depending on the visa type. 
• Passport: Valid 6 months after the visa expires, with at least two blank pages and in good condition. 
• Fill the visa application form online, print it, sign it and submit it at the visa centre or embassy. 
• You need to apply for a visa on the official portal of the Russian Service Centre. 
• The recent passport photo must fulfil the photo specifications for a Russian visa. 
• Invitation later by the hotel or accommodation and a tourist operator authorised by the Russian government.  
• Carry all your documents and inform your accommodation or tour operator before arriving in Russia. It will help during immigration at the Russian airport.

Note: Yandex Go is better than Google Maps in Russia. Yandex Go is more accurate than Google Maps. So, the best app for navigation of public transport in Russia is Yandex Go.
